Banco Guayaquil
Architects: Gómez Platero Arquitectos
Banco de Guayaquil is one of largest private banks in Ecuador and provides a wide range of banking services. It is situated in Guayaquil, the country's most densely populated city also known as the "Pearl of the Pacific" for its breathtaking views of the Ocean. All the offices, teller desks and welcome areas are skilfully arranged inside a refined and professional space, without giving up on personalized and aesthetically appealing finishes. The purpose is to put the customers at ease and create the best possible work spaces for employees. These are the reasons behind a project for making the space more efficient as well as pleasant, placing the accent on the design of its interiors and especially of the lighting system, which plays an important role when it comes to refreshing the look of a space.
The lighting design was developed by Darko Lighting of Montevideo as the distributor of Disano products, working in collaboration with the technical managers of the Ecuadorian bank and Disano illuminazione itself. The choice fell on technologically innovative interior and exterior lighting products, perfectly capable of meeting the most diverse needs. Each fixture fits LED sources that allow excellent technical performance, extraordinary colour rendering and even stable light emission, without hazardous and annoying flickering thanks to the low flicker risk mark.
The lighting setup designed by Disano succeeded in creating comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces, with an impressive visual impact also thanks to the special design of lighting fixtures that blends pleasantly into the surrounding context.
